Althea Tomlinson is a seasoned educational leader with more than two decades of experience building inclusive, high-impact systems in K-12 education. Known for her visionary thinking and ability to operationalize ideas, Althea has led transformative initiatives in curriculum development, instructional design, and technology integration across multiple Pennsylvania districts. Althea brings a grounded, student-centered approach to every project. She has a unique talent for fostering collaborative leadership and designing systems that ensure access and success for all learners.

Since 2023, Althea has served as the Supervisor of Teaching & Learning for the Centennial School District in Warminster, Pennsylvania. In this role, she leads district-wide initiatives designed to expand access, improve instructional quality, and ensure academic success for all learners. Her responsibilities include:

Overseeing the English Language Development (ELD) program and services for multilingual learners

Leading Social, Emotional, and Academic Learning (SEAL) and inclusive practice efforts across K-12

Managing Federal Programs to ensure compliance and alignment with district goals

Serving as a Community Liaison, coordinating interpretation and translation services for families

Overseeing Registration and Child Accounting, streamlining enrollment processes, and ensuring data integrity
Previous & Other Experience
Prior to her current role, Althea served in the Council Rock School District for over two decades, most recently as the Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction, K-12. In that role, she led thirteen subject area coordinators and six technology integration specialists, managed a $3 million instructional budget, and spearheaded numerous district-wide initiatives to enhance curriculum alignment, instructional quality, and technology integration. Althea also held roles as a Technology Integration Specialist, Twilight Program Director, Online Instructor, and Webmaster, demonstrating her adaptability and breadth of expertise. Her early career as a Secondary Social Science Educator laid a strong foundation in inclusive instruction and student engagement, shaping her learner-centered approach to leadership today.
